We Can Prescribe and Manage Psychiatric Medication

When your personalized treatment plan includes medication, one of our board-certified providers will prescribe and monitor that medication, assess its safety and effectiveness, and evaluate your treatment progress on an ongoing basis. We adjust dosage when needed, change medication when necessary, and work closely with you to help you reach your treatment goals.

Psychiatric medication may be part of a treatment plan for patients with the following mental health diagnoses:

Our psychiatric team may prescribe the following medications, depending on your diagnosis and treatment plan:

Antidepressants for depressive disorders
SPRAVATO® for depressive disorders and/or depressive disorders with suicidal ideation
Mood stabilizers for bipolar disorder
Anxiolytics for anxiety disorders
Sedatives for anxiety and/or insomnia
Stimulant medication for ADHD
Antipsychotics for schizophrenia

At Crownview Medical Group, patients have the option to engage in multiple therapeutic modes at the same time. Patients may combine psychiatric medication with psychotherapy, counseling, and specialized complementary modes of support. In addition, we offer clinicians with special training in the safe administration of SPRAVATO® and other new and innovative medications, such as IV ketamine.

Our Clinical Team: Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, and Family Nurse Practitioners

Psychiatrists are physicians – medical doctors (M.D.) or doctors of osteopathy (D.O.) – who specialize in the treatment and support of patients with mental and behavioral disorders. They receive the highest level of medical, scientific, and practical training available. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioners (PMHNP), and Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) are board certified mental health providers, hold graduate degrees in their specialties, and receive the highest level of licensing and credentials available after psychiatrists.

Our clinicians are trained to assess, diagnose, and treat the physical and mental symptoms of mental health disorders and psychological conditions.
